4th of July Parade - Too Political This Year!

We are getting tired of attending the parade each year, expecting to see a good show, and getting bombarded with politicians instead. The stop and hold up the line so they can pass out stupid pencils with empty campaign slogans on them. I wish they would stay away from our parade. Stop ruining a good day for the kids, or at the very least, keep the parade moving along. There were several times this year when the parade seemed to stop for several minutes at a time. That's because those selfish politicians want to hold things up while they pass out buttons and other junk. I think they should no longer be allowed in the parade. I'll bet if you took a poll, most people would agree with me. Few people would miss them if they all just stayed at home next year.
